COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
During the 2020 Pandemic, I helped create the DFW Non-Profit logo and worked with the developers on the website. After helping the Resource Group, we achieved a large number of non-profits reaching out to the group for resources which lead me to help deliver items to non-profit organizations, helping in other areas when needed in their offices, sorting donations at various non-profit locations, and volunteering at non-profit events. During the pandemic, there is a larger need to service more families who lost their job. Volunteering my time is a way I can give back to my community. Some organizations I help with are 6-Stones, Hope to the Homeless, Recovery Resource Council, Resource Center, etc. Since the development of the website for DFW Non-Profit Resource Group, their mission exploded and soon will be in New York and Colorado. I hope to help these extended groups with their logos to help promote their non-profit resources as well. I was very proud knowing that I helped them serve so many non-profits during the pandemic. They recently asked me to create an overview video and I just pitched to the Resource Groups about me producing social media platforms for all of them. This is a great opportunity to see how much in-kind surplus they help distribute around all the areas. I am glad I can take part in helping the non-profits with their missions.
Envoy Hospice, 2020
Built birdhouses for Envoy Hospice during the coronavirus pandemic for the elderly.
I collected donations from local businesses, my community, friends and savings.
I created, painted, and built over 25 birdhouses for Envoy Hospice last June for the elderly to enjoy. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the patients could not have family or friends visit them. I found this a great opportunity where I can help the elderly enjoy their day by bird watching. I managed, organized, and collected donated items from local businesses and collected donations from the community to help support the building and painting of these bird feeders.

I helped provide my guidance and knowledge of baseball by helping them forget they have barriers while on a baseball field. I am there to encourage them, be their friend, and help guide them through the game. It’s not about winning the game; it’s about making them happy and enjoying the beautiful game of baseball with their challenges, this is what the Miracle League is all about. Volunteering with disabled children and playing baseball has taught me patience and perseverance while making some new friends. This opportunity I was allowed to be in their commercial to help support the Miracle League.

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS
since 2017
I have been a big brother to Trent since he was 8 years old. Trent does not have a positive role model in his life. I am inspiring my little brother through the quality one-on-one time I spend with him by hanging out with him, teaching him how to play baseball, and teaching him life lessons as well. My goal is to positively impact and inspire him to become something he might never have thought he could do. We have become so close he feels comfortable asking me things he cannot talk about at his home. I find this rewarding for myself to have a little brother even though he is not blood. I plan to keep being his big brother for as long as he will continue the program and hope to stay friends after he turns 18. This has allowed me to be a big brother and have this experience in life.
